We have gathered a group of experts from celebrity chefs to famous & infamous wine makers to provide a plethora of new experiences. It is undeniable that Asian and Mediterranean cultures have influenced our Australian lifestyle, from food, wine and culture.

Together with innovative and passionate food and wine people such as foodie Mark Gleeson, chef Andrew Hudson and Wine educator and maker Paul Lelachuer, we now offer exciting new tours again with famous celebrity chefs that explore early influences of the different cultures and their cuisine and learning about their religious beliefs.

We are working with some Culinary Icons. In particular Andrew Fielke is the famous innovator who introduced the world to gourmet Australian Native Cuisine when he started the Red Ochre Grill.
Rosa Matto also has been most influential in influencing Adelaide’s culinary scene with her focus on Asian and Mediteranean foods.

Internationally it is understood that Australia offers the relatively untouched, fresh, unique environment where organic food grow in abundance. From the vegetable growers playground to the open oceans where our seafood is sensuous & fresh.

Golf & Gourmet Celebrity Chef – Day Tour – 3 Day / 2 Night

Start the tour with an informative introduction to Adelaide prior to a hit of golf at Adelaide’s historic Royal Adelaide Golf Club. The course is ranked in Australia’s top 5 and recognised as the most challenging in Adelaide. The third hole is regarded as the finest short par 4 in Australia. With a glass of wine in hand enjoy, taste and talk through the culinary delights being prepared by your celebrity chef. Take the time to engage the chef, Andrew Fielke and gain another insight to the way Australians enjoy their fabulous food and wine. Andrew Fielke is know as “The Wizard of OZ as he continues to perform magic with unique Australian products” . He is renown as Australia’s leading chef and authority on preparing innovative Australian Native Cuisine. This hands on experience gives you the opportunity to assist in the preparation of your meal if you wish, or just sit back and indulge!!

Wine & Wellness – Day Tour / 4 Day/ 3 Night

This exciting new tour experience encompasses Wine & Wellness. Start the day with a morning bush walk through the picturesque Adelaide Hills. A simple healthy gourmet breakfast follows at The Aquador Retreat. Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide hills, Aquador Retreat is a complete Wellness Centre with a difference, specialising in hydrotherapy, the European style wellness centre futures a hydro spa, homeopathic hot pool, cold plunge pool and 3 different saunas to unwind and relax. We offer you a truly unique experience. Dora’s signature bathhouse treatment is not to be missed.

By day, be pampered by adding any of the spa treatments to the wellness centre visit. Find peace in the relaxation garden, wander into the café and enjoy lunch and dinner lovingly prepared with the freshest hills produce. Stay overnight in one of the relaxing and ever so cosy accommodation rooms, complete with special health flexi slats beds and natural latex mattress.

Sleep like a baby, awaken for an early fresh start of the day and join your hosts on an invigorating morning walk followed by yoga stretches or utilise our well equipped gym for a morning work out before a healthy breakfast. Collect, Create and Cook – Day Tour

Enjoy a progressive food lovers guide to Adelaide. With an early morning start in the Adelaide Central Markets we choose the fresh food and produce that we will use as part of Rosa Matto’s cooking class. The market experience is an indepth “chefs eye view” of the markets, it’s a serious foodies tour!! The trip focuses on cultural diversity and explains how various waves of immigration have shaped our food culture.You get to buy the unfamiliar and cook with it. After returning to the cooking school, learning hands on “ the way it is done “ you enjoy the fruits of your labor wine chosen from small regional producers.

Collect, Create and Cook Consistently – from 2 to 5 Day Tour

This special tour incorporates the markets and the cooking school with Rosa but is a more extensive tour that involves meeting some of Adelaide’s new and up and coming chefs. From the markets, we also can head out to the market gardens, exploring the Asian influences, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food trails that also give us insight into the culture. This tour features hands on cooking schools at the fabulous Chapel Hill Cooking school and/or Thornpark Country House as we discover the local food and wines in the Clare and McLaren Vale wine regions always meeting wine makers and eating and preparing delicious regional cuisine.

Best of Everything – 6 Day / 5 Night Tour

This detailed tour offers clients the opportunity to experience the very Best of Everything South Australia has to offer. The tour incorporates the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale wine regions. We offer a warm welcome to Adelaide before touring out the Clare Valley where we enjoy wine tastings, gourmet lunch and the special sights on offer. The nights accommodation is at Thornpark Country House. The next day enjoy the Riesling Trail by walking or cycling whilst in the fresh air and surrounded by the spectacular country side. Refreshed, we then indulge in the cooking school where we can create their own meals and discover the freshness of the local produce. Day 3 offers a day in the famous Barossa Valley, with touring including highlights such as Maggie Beer’s, Cheese Maker and charming boutique wineries. Accommodation and dinner will be included at one of the fine restaurants in the region, Salters or Appellation. Day 4 takes us through rural country and little villages to the wellness centre nestled in the picturesque Adelaide hills, Aquador Retreat. We overnight here and indulge in the European style wellness centre with meal prepared by Swiss trained chef. The following day we tour the Adelaide Hills and enjoy lunch at the Bridgewater Mill with accommodation then at Chapel Hill in the McLaren Vale. We will also experience local produce markets, depending on the opening days. Whilst in each of the regions the Best of Everything will be experienced and enjoyed.

Wine Icons – 1 to 3 Day Tour price on application

South Australia is undoubtedly the wine capital of Australia. We are lucky to have the majority of Australian wine icons here. We have the tour that encompass some of the finest wine experiences and meeting the makers. Penfolds Grange is the first wine out of California and France to be named best red wine in the world!!. Barossa’s Wolf Blass winery has twice been named best international wine maker of the year. The Barossa’s Jacobs Creek label is also Australia’s most successful export wine with more of 80% of Jacobs Creek wines exported each year. This is just in the Barossa.

This one or two day tour highlights the best of the best. It includes the famous shiraz producers from Barossa and McLaren Vale – featuring Penfold’s Grange and the D’arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz. In the Adelaide Hills we visit the acclaimed Shaw & Smith, considered one of the finest Sauvignon Blanc producers in Australia. The Hills is also home to Petaluma, who have the reputation of producing the best from the best regions producing those styles. We will dine at some of Australia’s finest winery restaurants such as Magill Estate, Bridge Water Mill and incorporate special experiences with special lunch on the heritage site Jacobs Creek.

Wine Icons One Day Tour – D’arenberg & Petaluma and lunch at the exemplary Bridgewater Mill. If time permits we will do a tutored tasting at Shaw & Smith and then onto a twilight tasting and dinner at the Penfolds Magill Estate.

Wine Icons Two Day Tour

Private Grange Tasting and tour in the Barossa, followed by a specially prepared lunch at the Jacobs Creek heritage site with the following day featuring a special Riesling tasting of the finest wines of the Clare Valley featuring Grossets.

Royal Golf – from 2- 7 Day Tour

Australia’s Royal Golf Courses are renowned world wide as being the most exclusive, beautiful and challenging courses. The Royal tour has you playing at Australia’s selected Royal golf courses in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide & Perth. This includes specialised golf clinics, private winery visits and evenings dining with local renowned wine makers and chefs. When only the best will do this tour is for you.
